Georgina Wood and Fiona drove to Sheffield (from Cornwall where we were on holiday) on Saturday 22nd for Georgina to take part in the British LD Championships at the Ponds Forge International Swim Centre.

Georgina swam in 6 events and got PB’s in all of them. She got a bronze medal in the 50m Backstroke, silver medals in the 25m Freestyle and 50m Breaststroke and then a convincing Gold in the 25m Breaststroke. Georgina came 4th in the 50m Free and 25m Back.

Overall Georgina and I had a wonderful time and met some lovely people from Bexhill, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, it was definitely worth the journey.
