Beacon Swimming Club Spring Championships

Everyone who attended this years’ club championships will have appreciated the high standard of swimming attained by the swimmers. Many swimmers achieved personal best times and altogether 12 club records were broken.

The record-breakers were:-

Rachael Stevens -  C Girls 100m Backstroke 1.15:24
Tim Wood –            C Boys 100m Backstroke 1.08:71

We would like to congratulate all the participating swimmers.

We would also like to thank all those willing volunteers whose help and support on both nights made the championships so successful. Events like these cannot be held without parental help and the more parents we can encourage to become involved the smoother the events will be.
