Dear Swimmers,

I am delighted to announce that Beacon Swimming Club have been awarded Swim 21 accreditation by the ASA. Over time the club will see many benefits from this accreditation not least that Beacon is one of the few Swim 21 clubs in the South East. This will mean the club having a much stronger presence in our local area which in turn will help us  attract new members and facilitate new funding.
 
This achievement could not have been reached without the patience and persistence of two of our committee members, Kate Gosh and Fiona Wood who have  brought this project to fruition over the past 18 months.
 
Now we have obtained this award there will be further work to do to ensure all the benefits attributable to Swim 21 flow through to Beacon SC and I look forward to meeting parents new to Beacon that would like to become involved in the clubs continued development.
