Beacon swimming club juniors travelled to haywardsheath for the E G JUNIOR PUFFIN GALA competing against clubs OLYMPUS MARLINS, EAST GRINSTEAD, REDHILL& RIAGATE, SEVENOAKS and TANDRIDGE. For some of Beacons swimmers it was thier first time competing for the club.

Beacon made a good start with Seb Verrell, Callium Grey, Will Brown, Lee Fenner, Harrison stevens, Oliver Verrell, Thomas Wheeler winning the 8x1 lenght breaststroke squadron relay.In the individual events wins came from Will Brown in the U11 25m breaststroke, Lee Fenner U11 25m butterfly and Thomas Wheeler U13 50m butterfly.
Other good proformances where from Nina Williams in the U11 25m butterfly and Evan Draper in his freestyle leg in the boys U11 medley relay taking over when the boys where in third posistion and finnishing in first.Despite all great efforts from all the squad against strong competion Beacon finnished the gala in 5th place.
