The Lewis Leisure Center in Lewis East Sussex is a reasonably modern and spacious sports centre with everything within one complex. The leisure centre is five minutes walk from Lewes railway station and has free on-site parking.

Typical Gala Kit List
- Please check that you have the following items when you attend a gala.
- Swim cap – Your Beacon swim cap
- Goggles – You will need to have at least one spare pair of goggles just in case you break your first pair
- Swim suit - Beacon Swimsuit/Jammers
- T Bag – Please wear your Beacon T Bag pool side or an equivalent
- Towels – It’s a good idea to have two towels so that you can sit on one when poolside and have a dry one to get dressed
- Drinks – It’s important to have an energy drink poolside or water
- Food/snack – You may need a snack as most galas will last for 2-3 hours or possibly more
