Swimmers Will Brown and Harrison Stevens from Beacon Swimming Club competed in the Swim South East Regional championships at K2 pool at Crawley.

 

Swimming against 58 other competitors in their age group, Will came 8th in the 100m breaststroke in a time of 1 min:35:73 and 9th in the 200m breaststroke in 3 min:19:82.

Harrison finished 7th in the 200m breaststroke in 3 min:17:49, 5th in the 100m breaststroke in 1 min:30:

71, 19th in the 200m freestyle in 2min:34:99, 13th in the 100m freestyle in 1 min:10:93, 8th in the 200m backstroke in 2 min:53:99, 7th in the 100m backstroke in 1 min:20:73, 15th in the 200m individual medley in 2 min:56:02 and 16th in the 400m freestyle in 5 mins:20:25.

The boys final places at the end of the competition were: Will 33rd and Harrison 13th.
