SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING

Dear Members

I am sending this email as a final attempt to try to find out if there is
anyone from within the club, who would be interested in taking on the
running of the synchronised swimming section. I have been doing this job for
the last nine years and really must finish at the end of this year. There
was originally myself my daughter Zoe and Jill Fitt and her daughter Jacqui
and at this time the club was thriving. As the other helpers have had to
leave I have only had Steph Fitt helping during her breaks from Uni and
numbers have started to dwindle.

In 2008 I said I would continue for one more year and try to find a
replacement during this time. We have advertised twice and tried through the
network of synchro clubs to find someone else but to no avail.

Therefore if there are no volunteers out there the club will close at the
end of the year! I am really sorry about this as I know that the girls who
take part really love synchro and will be disappointed but I have made my
decision. Obviously if there is someone who could be interested they would
get my full support and help to find courses, plus the support of the rest
of the committee.

Kindest regards

Jacky Glasspool
