Typical club training session kit check list

As you will see Beacon Swimming Club have put together some information that may help new swimmers when attending a club training session.

What is a typical Beacon Swimming Club training session check list?

Please check that you have the following items when you attend a club training session.

Swim cap – Most of our girls find it better to were a swimming cap, however this is optional.
Goggles – You will need to have at least one spare pair of goggles just in case you break your first pair
Swim suit - Beacon Swimsuit/Jammers (Club swim suits can be purchased from Trish Allen)
Towel – Don’t forget your towel
Drink – It’s important to have an energy drink or water so that you don’t de-hydrate when training, these can be kept under the starting blocks when you are traning

Club kit bag – Beacon Swimming Club have there own branded kit bags in blue and yellow

Below is an optional kit list but as you will know these are vital pieces of training kit that we use during sessions.

Kit float – While the club does have floats it’s better to have your own
Pull buoy – Again the club does have some pull boys but it’s better to have your own in your kit bag
Frontal snorkel – For some of the older club swimmers it’s good to have a frontal snorkel so that it can be used during the training session.
Fins – We do use fins during some training sessions so it good to have your own, however the club does have some but there is no guarantee that we have your size

If you need help or advice on kit please talk to Sharon, Fiona or Andrew who will be happy to help.

Wendy down is around either in the café or on the viewing gallery most training session so if you need to buy any of the Beacon Swimming Club branded kit Wendy will be happy to assist.
Most of the club kit in on the shop page of the website, there you will be able to see the prices.
