Christmas Cracker & Club Champs

Eight Beacon members travelled to Horsham for this two day meet this weekend; between them they competed in 18 races and achieved 4 PB’s [1 DQ], 5 top 1-3 placing. This is always a good event with many clubs from outside the County taking part. Congratulations to Lauren C 1^st, Lucy R 1^st, Gabby T 1^st also acquiring a County Qualifying time (CQT) plus 2^nd & Max I 3^rd. Other times were so tantalizingly close to their respective CQT’s, I’m sure you’ll get them very soon.

Don’t forget Beacon Club Champs starts tonight with those brave soles doing the long distances. As it will not take the whole evening the later squads will get pool time so C & Senior D swimmers do come along & give them your vocal support – it’s a long way to swim in silence

But Most Importantly, Good Luck to everyone who has entered the Beacon Club Championships 2014, lets have some loud cheering for everyone taking part through out the 6 sessions &, hopefully, lots of new PB’s and maybe some CQT’s as well.
