Sevenoaks Sprints Trophy
Beacon was invited to the Sevenoaks home gala on Saturday night. This is always a fun gala with good competition from Surrey & Kent teams. By all accounts it didn't disappoint with great cheering from all involved. Our team managed to gain 14 PBs from 32 individual swims. The surprise for the many who had never competed in this gala before is the antiquated starting pistol which is always a surprise, for both swimmers and audience!
The final scores were 1st Chistehurst Millenlum 176 points; 2nd Edenbridge Piranhas 173 points; 3rd Beacon 172.5 points; 4th Sevenoaks 158.5 points; 5th TASS 69 points & 6th Sutton&Cheam Atlantis 64 points.
This was a great improvement on our last outing to Sevenoaks, Well swam everyone.
