Sussex County Age Group & Championship 2015

The final 2 days of Sussex County Age Group & Championships 2015 saw 27 Beacon members taking part. They achieved between them a further 60 PB’s of which 36 of them would convert to PB’s short course as well. There was a further 11 medals achieved & 10 4-8 placings. Beacon managed to get 5 finalists in their respective age groups 100m finals & 3 in Championship finals. Well done to Hannah A 100m Fly & 200m Free; Ben K 50m Free for obtaining Automatic Regional QT’s in those events –[NO DQ’s].
So to summarise on this year’s Competition, Beacon has had a total of 122 PB’s from 147 individual swims, 18 Age group medalists, 29 4-8 placings [No DQ’s] 5 Automatic Regional QT’s 13 Base Regional QT’s; 1 British Championship QT. [This excludes the relay results].
Congratulations to EVERYONE who participated, whether individually or in the Relay teams, you were all a credit to the Club.
Thanks for all the parents who helped out on poolside, our Club Coaches and Licensed Officials; without whom none of these events would run so smoothly.
