Saturday & Sunday saw the conclusion of this years event. Certainly, lots of drama with medals being fought for & lost by 100's of seconds, with our swimmers making Age Group finals & Championship finals.
From 121 swims there were 101 long course PB's [some of which would convert to short course PB's but are not added to the 25m PB Chart], [2 DQ]. The Final medal tally is still being calculated.
For the Beacon team who swam individuals at the County's Sam B, Jacob B, Daniel B, Ben B, Sophie C, Jo C, Lauren C, Amy C, Charlotte C, Kiera E, Jack F, Lewis G, Jess H, Ania H, Andrew H-T, Ben K, Louisa L, James Mc, Matt Mc, Maisie M, Elliot R, Henry R-R, Holly R, Isaac S, David S, Gabby T, Arjun W, Ryan W & Connie W-W; all of you swam so well and your general behaviour whether coping with success or disappointment is a credit to you all
Congratulations should, of course, go to EVERYONE who participated, whether competing in individual events or in the Relay teams, you should be proud of your achievements.
Thanks for all the parents who helped out on poolside, our Club Coaches and
Licensed Officials, Trainee Officials & Volunteers; without whom none of
these events would run so smoothly.
