Sussex County Winter Championships 2016
19 Beacon swimmers took part in this Level 2 short course annual County event at K2, Crawley. It was a change of venue for this years champs, which did increase the entries from previous years. Beacon swimmers were certainly up in the mix especially with good strong swims so early in the season. It was grand to see some new faces who had recently acquired the QT, having their first taste at competing a County event.
From 50 swims, 28 PBs were achieved. There was 4 Golds, 5 Silvers, 2 Bronzes.

Some of these times will be good enough to have acquired QT for the long course Sussex Championships & Age Groups Competition in February 2017.
