Tom Handley Open Meet 2015

This weekend saw 11 Beacon members making the trip to Brighton for the annual Tom Handley Open Meet Level 2 meet. As always a popular meet which lived up to it’s billing for strong competition with clubs from Kent, Surrey & Hampshire as well as a few Sussex teams; all making it interesting racing.
Between them they took part in 27 swims, achieving a creditable 9 PB’s [No DQ], 4 New County Qualifying times [QCT] & 2 improved CQT. Daniel B managed to gain 1st& 2nd place in his events, but all swam well considering the Christmas break. Well done to Ania H, Louisa L, Henry R-R & Isaac S for gaining those elusive CQT’s & Ben K for improving two of his.
