Welcome to the home of Beacon Swimming Club, one of Sussex's leading competitive swimming clubs, offering life saving, competitive training sessions and opportunities to swim at competitions and galas.
You will find Beacon Swimming Club an ideal place to start to a swimming career, whether for young people who want to develop their swimming to a competitive level after learning to swim, or for more established swimmers who perhaps with an eye on fitness, see a competitive swimming club as a means to pursue their fitness goal.
All our swimmers are encouraged to participate in the competitive aspects of the clubs activities however this (unlike some Clubs) is not a prerequisite for ongoing membership.
You will find information regarding the Clubs training programme elsewhere
on this site but one of the key aspects is the range of ability groups Beacon
can accommodate, of course we would like and indeed encourage competition to the
top level .
Beacon Swimming Club is pleased to be a member of Sussex Seahawks offering our talented swimmers the opportunity to compete more effectively at regional and national level; promote standards of excellence; and to create a high performance environment and culture from which national and international swimmers have the best possible opportunity to emerge.
