Saturday & Sunday, saw the start of this year’s ASA SouthEast Regional Long Course Championships at K2. The Competition was, as always, extremely fierce; with Swimmers from Hampshire/IOW, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, East & West Berkshire, Kent, Surrey & Sussex all taking part.

Our three younger qualifiers, Ben K, Lauren C & Hannah A, all did extremely well. With 10 swims between them, there were 3 L/C PB’s. Congratulations to Hannah who qualified for 14 years 200m 100m & 50m Free. Sadly, due to injury, made a tactical withdrawal from the 200m so as to concentrate on the 100m & 50m free finals, and subsequently came 7th & 6threspectively in those events. Well Done all of you, you’re all a credit to the Club.

We've no swimmers in next weekend’s events at Mountbatten Centre, Portsmouth as it’s Long Distance & teams so it will be K2 again in a fortnight’s time for the older age groups to swim.
