Beacon SC Club Championships 2015 - Session 6

Monday night saw the conclusion of this years Club Championships with 11 swimmers taking part in the 400m Individual Medley. A grueling race, which for some was the first time they had attempted the event.
Between them they managed 10 PB's & 4 New CQT. [2 of the swimmers were only a second off gaining CQT - always frustrating over such a distance.] Congratulations to Lauren C & Daniel B who also achieved Championship records.
The final tally for 2015 event now reads from 773 swims there were an impressive 583 new PB's with 97 new or improved County Qualifying times [27 DQs]
This sees the end of the Championships with just the overall trophies to be presented Thursday evening at 8.30 pm after the well deserved Fun session with inflatables from 7 to 8.15 pm.
WELL DONE to ALL of you, it was fab swimming.
[NB. Those of you who are really close to CQT, don't forget to get your entries to Claire for the Seahawks Meet asap - that is your final chance to gain CQTs or improve times.]
A huge thank you to all those involved, either during the sessions at the pool or behind the scenes before & after, without whom none of this is possible. Thank you, also, to all our Guests who attended on different evenings to join in with the excitement of the swimming.
