Hilary Brown - Sussex ASA President

Dear Members,

As some of you may know our Club President, Hilary Brown, become President of Sussex Amateur Swimming Association yesterday at the Annual Council Meeting of Sussex ASA held in Brighton. This is in recognition of over 40 years of service that Hilary has given to the Club, the County and to the broader community in swimming, as a swimmer, coach and official, and in other sports and activities. I set out below the biography that was read out yesterday at the ACM.

Over the next 12 months Hilary, as President, will represent the County at the Sussex Swimming Championships and at many other swimming events and disciplines such as Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Diving as well as at events at many Sussex clubs.

We wish Hilary well in all the activities and duties as President of Sussex ASA for 2017/2018.

The Club has only once before in its history had a President of Sussex ASA and we pass on our many congratulations to Hilary on this great achievement !!
