Lis Hartley Long Course Level 3 Meet 2014
This two day meet gave 21 club members a great opportunity to race at K2 as a 50m pool. Although, being a level 3 meet they had tough competition from local & out of county clubs. From 66 swims they achieved a whopping 60 PB’s [No DQ] - partly because most hadn’t ever race long course events before. But that can’t deflate their achievement, as it can be a wee bit daunting when standing on the block looking down that pool. Praise goes to Hannah A, Louisa L, Maisie M & Jo C for obtaining medals; between them they got 12 top 1-3 places.
Well Done to everyone who swam, a fantastic effort all round.
Thanks, also, to the parents who volunteered to help the Coaches out on Poolside; it makes the job a whole lot easier.
