Welcome to Beacon Swimming and Lifesaving Club
Beacon is one of Sussex's leading competitive swimming clubs, offering lifesaving, competitive training sessions and opportunities to swim at competitions and galas at all levels and whatever your age. Beacon trains at Crowborough Leisure Centre, St. Leonards School in Mayfield, Holmewood House School in Langton Green, Uckfield Leisure Centre and K2 leisure centre in Crawley so we are in easy reach whether you are based in East Sussex or in Kent.
You will find Beacon Swimming Club to be a very friendly club whether you are starting a swimming career, looking to develop swimming to a competitive level after learning to swim, or for more established swimmers wanting to improve their fitness or that want to compete at County, Regional or National levels of competition. We also offer swimming for adults (masters) looking to start or wanting to return to swimming for fitness or competition. Beacon has it all!
All our swimmers are encouraged to participate in the competitive aspects of the Club's activities however unlike some clubs this is not a prerequisite for ongoing membership.
You will find information regarding the Club's training programme elsewhere on this site but one of the key aspects is the range of ability groups and ages Beacon can accommodate, from beginners aged 7 to National swimmers and to masters.
We are always pleased to hear from new swimmers of all ages and abilities so if you are interested in joining the Club please go to the 'Register for a Trial' tab and complete the form. There is more information on the 'About Us' pages but if you have any further questions please feel free to contact us. We hope to hear from you soon!
Beacon Swimming Club has a close affiliation with Freedom Leisure who are passionate about teaching children from six months to seniors, how to swim. For further information please click here.
