Conclusion

It takes many people to run a Club successfully and only a few names have been mentioned in this document covering very briefly the first 40 years. Over these years behind the scenes people, coaches, swimming teachers and Committee Members, some having moved on, others having passed away, have worked extremely hard for the Club and will continue to do so to make the next 40 years a great success as a top swimming and sports Club.

While the swimmers, lifesavers, coaches, Committee Members, officials and personalities may change at the Club some things will hopefully never change. A truly inclusive Club that welcomes all whatever age, background or ability, a Club that respects the individual but has a strong team spirit, always willing to adapt, ambitious to be a top competitive Club while keeping true to its values as a Club taken from and serving the Community.
