A Vision for Rio 2016

The future of British Para-Swimming

Great Britain is one of the leading nations in Para-Swimming, winning 7 Gold, 16 Silver, 16 Bronze medals in London 2012, the standards of competition and depth in quality of the athletes in London 2012 raised the bar in terms of performance. At the Paralympic Games 2016 we will continue to face significant competition from other leading nations and so we need to stay ahead of the curve in identifying talented swimmers.
We’re looking for strong female and male swimmers, aged 12–25 years. Swimmers need to be competing to at least county or regional level with limited vision - defined as being unable to see beyond the top letter of an eye chart with their most effective eye, whilst wearing glasses.

If you think you may fit the requirements of a visually impaired swimmer and have what it takes to be the best then register your details at www.uksport/talent

Kind Regards
