Airtech ‘B’ Grade Relay Gala

Beacon team was invited to participate in the Crawley SC’s annual Airtech ‘B’ Grade Relay Gala at K2 on Saturday evening. This fun gala is aimed at non-county swimmers &, as usual, was highly competitive with some good close racing between the four teams.
The team gave a good account of themselves with great poolside spirit. They managed to come a credible 3rd which doesn’t reflect the closeness of some of the finishes. The younger members showed what potential many of them have given a little more time training.
As it was a relay event, split times are not counted as PB’s so are, therefore, not added to the website or PB chart.
