Fantastic Club
Championships 2016
This year there were 103 swimmers
taking part in the Club Championships, for many it was their first time
racing. There has been a great atmosphere on poolside,
with swimmers cheering each other on.
There were 797 event entries, 557 Pb’s, (personal best times) a fantastic achievement!
A big thank you to the Championship
Committee of Dan, Donna, Ursula and Di for putting it all together, as well as to Claire for inputting all the
Swimmers entries. Also a huge Thank you to all the volunteers, who were the Officials, the Team
Managers, our Technical People up on the balcony on the computer and not forgetting those who
brought round the drinks and sweets! Without all these helpers each session, we could not licence
our Championships.
