Maritime Trophy B Gala

Last Saturday, Beacon’s Junior Team were, also in action, over in Sevenoaks for the Maritime Trophy B Gala. Always a good gala for learning the discipline of racing. Our team showed a marked improvement over their last outing - becoming true professionals who raced their hardest during the evening whilst against strong opposition. This is most noticeable by the number of PBs they gain; from 32 individual races they achieved 18 PB’s [4 DQ’s]
The team spirit was in good form from the swimmers on poolside and it won’t be long before this young team is winning these types of events with ease.
