Nick Gillingham - For One Night Only!.....

Nick Gillingham MBE, two time Olympic medalist and former world
record holder and a European and Commonwealth champion will attend the Club
Championships on Sunday 14 December. Nick, in addition to presenting the
medals, will come out of retirement for one night only to swim in a Charity
Exhibition event during the evening. Qualifying heats for the Exhibition event
will be held at the Crowborough Leisure Centre on Thursday 27 November at
8.00pm which any Club swimmers, parents or members of the public can
enter on paying £5 which will go to the charity of the eventual winner of the
Charity Exhibition race. For more details on the Nick Gillingham Charity

enter the heats make sure you give your name to Fiona Wood by 21 NOVEMBER.
The Mayor of Crowborough Cllr Ron Reed and the Lady Mayoress will also
attend the Club Championships on Sunday 7 December to present medals with Ivan
Horsfall-Turner, Managing Director of Freedom Leisure, presenting medals on
Saturday 6 December. It should be a great Club Championships !! So make
sure you take part as a swimmer, by getting your entry forms in to Fiona Wood
by 17 NOVEMBER, or if a parent by letting Fiona know if you can volunteer to
help at the Club Championships.
