Seahawks Development Meet 2016

Saturday & Sunday saw the Annual Seahawks Development Meet and for the first time all sessions took place at our home pool in Crowborough. This is a "close" level 4 meet with 2016 seeing East Grinstead SC & Beacon SC co-hosting the meet [Atlantis SC who are also Seahawks members were not present this year]. Thank you to all those who helped out - in whatever capacity - making it such an enjoyable event.
The "spot prize" for random heats, which were selected by spectators, was a success, with lots of Seahawk hats being won by Beacon swimmers who finished first in their heat. Thanks to Andy, of Freedom Leisure for presenting the prizes. This was a new incentive for the swimmers to try & win their heat as well as their last chance to gain County Qualifying Times.
From 153 swims there was 85 PB's, 22 New or improved CQT [12 DQ]. WELL DONE everyone.
