Success at Millfield Meet in Somerset

A number of swimmers and parents traveled to Somerset to take part in a two day long course meet held at Millfield School. All the swimmers performed exceptionally. From 75 swims the swimmers achieved 67 PBs with swimmers placing in the top three places in 37 races. A highlight to the meet was a training session at Millfield pool on the Monday morning where swimmers met with Olympic hopeful and 1,500m swimming specialist Joel Knight who won gold at the European Youth Olympics when he was 15. Joel gave a presentation on what it takes to get to the top of swimming with some great insights into training, diet and keeping motivated. A really enjoyable weekend for all those attending.
