Sussex County Age Groups & Championships 2015

Yesterday, saw this year’s campaign commence with the long distance events [girls 800m & boys 1500m] with 6 Beacon swimmers taking part - they achieved a very hard earned 5 PBs between them. Well done to Lauren C 13th, Louisa L 9th, Hannah A 6th, Jo C 7th, Ben K 2nd& James Mc 6th in their respective age groups.
So, Beacon has launched this year event with 4 rosettes & one silver medal - Well Done everyone who took part.
This year the Counties are going to be a little more challenging than last year, as it is being raced like the long distance events in the 50m pool set up -referred to as Long Course; rather than the more familiar Short Course [25m pool] of previous years. I’m sure everyone will be inspired by this good start the team has had and add to the tally of PB’s & awards.
