Sussex League Round 2

This Saturday, the Beacon team took part in their second round of the Sussex League against Hailsham Hornets SC & Chichester Cormorants SC at Bede's pool.
This was always going to be a potentially tough round, but with guts & determination the Team gave a good account of itself, managing 11 PB's from 76 individual swims [NO DQ's]. 16 1st places, 27 2nd places & 21 3rd places from all swims. The noise from the Team & supporters certaining was deafening by the end of the evening.
Well done to you all.
The final score of the gala was Hailsham 397 Beacon 364 Chichester 247.

Beacon's 3rd & final gala will be on 28th June against Lewes SC & Hasting Seagulls SC again at Bede's pool.
