Sussex League Round 3

The third and final round of this years Sussex League took Beacon team to Dolphins centre in Haywards Heath. It was always going to be a close outcome as all three teams were trying to avoid relegation to Division 2. Throughout the gala, the lead swapped between the three clubs with tremendous battles being fought in every race.

It was to be a gallant effort by a stronger Beacon team but sadly the end results didn't reflect the brilliant racing by all those there.

The final scores were East Grinstead SC 370, Littlehampton SC 358 & Beacon SC 314.

Our team managed to gain 18 PB's from 80 individual swims. 12 1st places; 15 2nd places; 23 3rd places; 15 4th places; 19 5th places & 10 6th places.

Beacon team was Sam M-Y; Lewes G, Elliot R, Jess H, Max B, Ania H, Kiera E, Danni T, Connie W-W, Alfie H, Ben B, Sophie C, Arjun W, Ben K, Tom W, Jack F, Lauren C, Amy C, Maisie M, Louisa L, Holly R, Zoe R, Matt Mc, James Mc, Jacob B, Jo C, Harry G, Daniel B, Ryan W, Thomas W & Rachel S.

Well swam everyone, you all gave it everything & your team spirit was there right to the end, it just wasn't to be Beacon's night.
