Terry Fitzgerald Open Meet 2016


26 Beacon swimmers took part in the Terry Fitzgerald level 3 Open Meet at Hastings last Saturday. This was the 4th TFOM that Hasting Seagulls SC have done and as with previous years was a lovely friendly & well run meet - a perfect first taste of Open meet competition for our younger swimmers. There was a good variety of clubs attending coming from Sussex, Kent & Surrey. 

They managed to obtain from 77 swims an impressive 32 PBs [2 DQs] with 20 1-3 placings being achieved by Sophie C 1st, Jo C 1st & 2nd; Izzy C 3rd; Beth C two 1st, 2nd & 3rd; Gemma C 3rd; Molly-Rose H 2nd; Jody O 1st; Zoe R two 2nd & two 3rd; Jack B 1st & 3rd; Mckinley L-R 3rd; Sam M-Y two 1st; Henry R-R 3rd.

Congratulations to all the Beacon swimmers who swam just as well, showing that your training is being to make the difference in your performance - Emma C, Summer C, Sarah G, Amelia K, Robyn L-R, Molly Mc, Tegan R, Evie S, Beth W, Emily W, Sam B, Callum B, Alfie H, Jack K. 

There was a great team spirit & exemplary poolside behaviour, well done to you all.
